MAV (Memory Access Violation)
Tally.ERP 9 crashes if the data created in any of 4.7 till 4.93 releases and migrated to 5.0 till 5.3 releases.
Update Tally release if TSS is renewed.Then need to take data backup.
Step 1: Rewrite of data will solve the issue.
- Go to the Gateway of Tally or the Company Info. menu.
- Press Ctrl+Alt+R . The List of Companies appears in the Rewrite Company screen.
- Select the company for which you want to rewrite data. Press Enter to rewrite the data.
- Once the rewriting procedure is complete, you will be able to access your restored data.
If still this MAV Error occurs then you need to go for Zero Rewrite Process
Step 2: Zero Re-write
- Close Tally in all systems Need to do this process on Server System.
- Press Win+R> Mention: Target path (space) Data (space) 0 >OK
- After that Tally will get open and again press Ctrl+Alt+R . The List of Companies appears in the Rewrite Company screen.
- Select the company for which you want to rewrite data. Press Enter to rewrite the data.
